Hello friends!
Today my heart is sad.
I'm not sure if I really want to share this with you all, not because I'm hiding it, but because I want my blog to be happy and fun, two things I'm not feeling at present.
My Aunt died this morning after 24 crazy whirlwind hours in the ICU, she left us.
I'm grateful to have known her, and happy she's at peace.
My heart goes out to her boyfriend of 20+ years and her 13 year old daughter left behind.
In the madness of the last 24 hours I learned that I am 100% an emotional eater.
While everyone else was too scared to eat, I was stuffing my face with
Yogurt pretzels,
Gummyworms,
and
cookies.
Looks as though my candy boycott is over.
Some things I learned in the last day.
Never EVER go to bed mad.
Hug and kiss your family every time you see them.
Make time to be present in their lives.
Let all the petty BS go.
Your family is in your blood, you don't choose them, they're apart of you.

Oh my gosh I am so sorry :-( I'll be thinking good thoughts for you and your family. I don't pray, otherwise maybe I'd do that. Take care of yourself and binge on all of the candy you want! My personal favorite when I have a sweet craving are those chocolate marshmallow/graham cracker cookie things. TO DIE FOR.

I am sorry for your loss. I understand a little about what you are going through, my uncle died suddenly a few years ago. Don't ever feel sorry to share your feelings on your blog!

Sorry for your loss lovely. She looks like an amazing woman (i take it thats her in the photo!) I want to hug a deer! :) She will now be looking down on you all and will take care of you like you all did for her in her last hours.
Oh and eat all the candy you want! hehe although I think ice cream is the best cure! all my thoughts and good wishes go out to you, your family and her little family.

Oh sweet friend, I'm so sorry for your loss.
My great aunt died right after Christmas and your words couldn't be more true. Let annoying BS go, once people are gone, you will miss them.

Your aunt was beautiful! I know words don't really ever help in situations like this, sorry she is gone but you have just gained another angel from heaven to watch over you :)
